Banquet Head Porter

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.
The incumbent is also responsible for the breaking down and cleaning of bar outlets.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for specific positions.
)1.
Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
2.
Cleans various bars as assigned or according to rotating schedule.
3.
Cleans service stations, including drains, counters, guns, ice bins, boots, speed racks, EDI's and syrup containers.
4.
Maintains equipment, including blenders, mixers, strainers and juice machines.
5.
Maintains stockroom cleanliness, including cleaning all shelves.
6.
Cleans glass washer and drains.
7.
Cleans reach-ins, beer and keg coolers, elevators and wine containers.
8.
Assists in major breakdown and re-assembly of bar's stock and setup.
Job Requirements:
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAbility to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar area.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and all levels of employees.
This position requires physical mobility so as to perform breakdown and cleaning duties.
Ability to lift 50-pound bags of ice and push/pull carts which weigh up to 100 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
