Surveillance Tecnician

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.
The incumbent is also responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of surveillance equipment, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of surveillance equipment repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.

Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
2.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
3.
Replaces/repairs parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions.
4.
May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
5.
May be given occasional assignments to provide training to lesser experienced technicians or trainees.
6.
Maintains skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions.
7.
Inspects and performs general and preventive maintenance of surveillance equipment and installation Job Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONSGeneral understanding of electronics.
General understanding of mechanical and electronic processes.
Ability to use all machine test equipment.
General understanding of computer networking design and repair.
These skills are typically acquired through the completion of an A.
A.
degree in Electronics and one year surveillance equipment experience, or through a minimum of two years' progressive surveillance equipment experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
