Ability to write routine correspondence and process needed reports.

Ability to create or carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and implement effective solutions.
Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization required to perform job responsibilities.
May be exposed to strong fumes, waste materials or toxins.
This position operates in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, cold, heat, humidity, vibration, crowds, and smoke.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the operation of the casino vessel ensuring compliance with the all applicable USCG regulations and the policies/procedures of Boomtown Casino New Orleans.
Job Requirements:
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a college degree (preferred), but maybe be substituted by an extensive work history. The Captain-in-Charge is required (1) to have held at least a MATE 500 TON NEAR COASTAL license and (2) to have held the grade of MATE 500 TON NEAR COASTAL or higher for at least five (5) years.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
